Pastor Rob Nelson, our Senior Pastor, has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Theological Seminary. Following five years as a Youth Pastor in Minnesota, he pastored a church in rural Nebraska for 11 years. Pastor Rob is now serving in his fifteenth year as our Pastor. Pastor Rob's wife, Chrissy, is a kindergarten teacher in Niles, IL. They have been married for 31 years. The Nelson's have two children. Amy and her husband, Edgar, live and work in Texas. Amy is a social worker at an area hospital. She studied at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Peter graduated in 2008 with a master's degree in Structural Engineering. He and his wife, Lindsey, live here in Chicago.
Caleb’s wife, Janine, is currently enrolled in the D.C. program at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard. Prior to this, she undertook a B.Tech in Chiropractics at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. Caleb and Janine have been married since July, 2007.
Skip Moeller, our Youth Pastor, is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute with a degree in pastoral studies. Starting in September he will be attending Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Skip has previously served in several youth ministry roles including: an inner-city sports program, a camp counselor, and as a youth pastor. Skip was born in Tucson, AZ and moved to Chicagoland when he was three months old. He makes his home in Arlington Heights, Il.
Lydia Vann, our Office Manager, has been on staff at Bethany for over 15 years. She and her husband, Eugene, are life-long Chicagoans and active in many of Bethany's ministries.

Caleb Smith, our Worship Pastor, has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and
a Postgraduate Diploma in Resource Studies from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
Following his studies, Caleb worked in the Eastern Cape of South Africa for 7
years in development planning and poverty alleviation. During this time he also
served as the Worship Director at Beacon Baptist Church. Caleb is currently
enrolled in the M.Div program at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in
Lombard.
