Pastor Rob Nelson, our Senior Pastor, has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Theological Seminary. Following five years as a Youth Pastor in Minnesota, he pastored a church in rural Nebraska for 11 years. Pastor Rob is now serving in his fifteenth year as our Pastor. Pastor Rob's wife, Chrissy, is a kindergarten teacher in Niles, IL. They have been married for 32 years. The Nelson's have two children. Amy and her husband, Edgar, live and work in Texas. Amy is a social worker at an area hospital. She studied at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Peter graduated in 2008 with a master's degree in Structural Engineering. He and his wife, Lindsey, live here in Chicago.
Skip Moeller, our Youth Pastor, is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute with a degree in pastoral studies. He attends Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Skip has previously served in several youth ministry roles including: an inner-city sports program, a camp counselor, and as a youth pastor. Skip was born in Tucson, AZ and moved to Chicagoland when he was three months old. Skip was just married this past June. Tiffany and Skip make their home in Deerfield, IL.
Lydia Vann, our Office Manager, has been on staff at Bethany for over 16 years. She and her husband, Eugene, are life-long Chicagoans and active in many of Bethany's ministries.
